Training from DiVal Safety Equipment, Inc. on our 4-Gas Meters

On Monday night (2-12-24), Harris Hill Firefighters and Bowmansville Volunteer Fire Association participated in training from DiVal Safety Equipment, Inc. on our 4-Gas Meters. These meters assist us in detecting what type of gas may be present and the level of the gas at emergencies! “This evening Harris Hill firefighters were dispatched to a report of a space heater on fire inside the laundry room at a residence in our district. A quick response by both the homeowner and firefighters prevented a significant fire. On Jan. 1, John Moulin, the first assistant chief of Harris Hill Volunteer Fire Company, was running in the “iRun WNY New Year’s Day 5K” at Fort Niagara State Park, Youngstown, when his wife, who was watching from the sidelines, stopped him.
