Investigation ongoing after house fire leads to $300k in damage

The Harris Hill Fire Company was alerted at 1:37am to fire coming from the roof of a house on Boncrest West Drive, Clarence. Upon arrival the Chief reported a single-story home with its roof well involved with fire. Firefighters worked to extinguish the fire. They were assisted by Main Transit, East Amherst, Bowmansville, Clarence and Clarence Center Fire Departments along with the New York State Police, Erie County Sheriffs Fire Investigators and Twin City Ambulance. The home was under renovation at the time and not occupied. The estimated damage was $300k.
