Last night approximately 20 firefighters trained on our new battery operated equipment and CAFS (compressed air foam system) located on our rescue truck. Our rescue is now equipped with battery operated hand tools, a ventilation fan and lights. The new battery tools allow us to remain efficient in our practices, all while requiring less routine maintenance by our members. This was an excellent opportunity for members to get their hands on the equipment that was just recently placed into service!
