This week our Junior Program held their month training; the focus was on SCBA use and Search & Rescue.  Our Junior Program is for youth ages 14-17.  As members they learn about the fire service, participate in training, and serve their community.

This week 4-22-24, our Junior Program hosted firefighter training with Main Transit & Bowmansville Junior Programs.  This night was focused on Search and Rescue in a simulated smoke-filled structure.  This controlled environment overseen by Program Advisors and other Fire Officers was an opportunity for our younger members to get a taste for what a real situation is like.  A special Thank You to the Clarence Center Vol Fire Company for allowing the use of their training structure. 

On Saturday 9-15-2023, Our Junior firefighters and Advisers joined many other Erie County fire companies Junior programs

on the Erie County Junior Training Day, Saturday. 

This was an all day training that went over all different aspects of firefighting. 

An excellent learning experience for these members as they grow within our fire company. EC Fire Safety hosted our 2nd annual Jr. Firefighter Day. 30 junior firefighters from all over Erie County learned skills in Forcible Entry, Hose line advancement, Search & Rescue, Decon, Stop the Bleed, first aid, and Survival skills.
