Harris Hill Firefighters spent a portion of their evening educating members of the community at a fire prevention detail at Nativity School. On Friday June 3rd we opened our firehouse doors to the riders of the Ride for Missing Children bike ride. A portion of this 100-mile bike ride went through our fire district. Riders were able to use our facility for bathrooms/water breaks as needed.

On Saturday May 14th from 10am to 2pm, our crews were busy staffing an engine that attended the Eastgate Plaza Safety Fair, hosted outside of Old Navy on Transit Road. Our Firefighters distributed fire safety supplies and allowed the community to take an up-close look/ tour of our fire engine.

The sun was out this morning and so we’re our firefighters. This morning firefighters participated in an in-service training on our new Paratech struts. These struts help us stabilize vehicles involved in car accidents that may be unstable on their sides/roof.

Harris Hill Firefighters spent last night training with a crew from Twin City Ambulance. Twin City responds with us to all medical emergencies in our district! Crews learned equipment locations and how we can best assist the Twin City Paramedics in the most critical situations.
