This past weekend, several of our firefighters took part in the Getzville Fire Company’s annual Rapid Intervention Training weekend, known as “Grit.”
This two-day course focuses on preparing firefighters for the rapid deployment needed to rescue colleagues who are lost, injured, or trapped during emergencies. The training featured numerous scenarios based on real-life incidents.
