Tuesday 6-7-2022 we had the honor of receiving Ground School training from crew members of Mercy Flight, we learned what to do and what not to do for landing and take-off. Don't wear your helmet around the "bird", duck, don't approach the "bird" when rotor is moving, spot wires, hazards, just to mention a few. The pilot will make the ultimate decision where and when to land and take-off.

On Friday June 3rd we opened our firehouse doors to the riders of the Ride for Missing Children bike ride. A portion of this 100-mile bike ride went through our fire district. Riders were able to use our facility for bathrooms/water breaks as needed.

On Saturday May 14th from 10am to 2pm, our crews were busy staffing an engine that attended the Eastgate Plaza Safety Fair, hosted outside of Old Navy on Transit Road. Our Firefighters distributed fire safety supplies and allowed the community to take an up-close look/ tour of our fire engine.
